It was a fun game to watch IMO. Not terribly flashy but some solid sparks in there on both sides of the ball. I hope this defense is as hungry as it looked in this spring game. With a little polishing, I think they could make waves. Still a lot of time before game #1.

Thanks for posting the link Brad! Wish they would put the whole game up instead of just highlights.

 

But I have a couple of points of criticism of the clip

 

1. Why are they using the "stock photo" 1Q/2Q/etc intro clips of the band in the rain at RayJay, students tossing a girl at RayJay, etc? Makes no sense and IMO just shows they were too lazy to make new ones or do something different.

 

2. Why do they show (0-1, 0-1) and (1-0, 1-0) in the final score? That's just dumb. We all know it's only one game, there's not going to be a series of OOC and in-conference Spring Games, and just makes the video department look pretentious.

 

Is it just me?

Kansas counted their Spring game as a win in the standings a few years ago under Weis. I guess its nice we haven't sunk that low.

Hard to tell from those clips, but does Bench look like the guy? He def looks like he is confident throwing the ball. The other two look a bit unsure.

That bench run was impressive I just think Flowers has more upside and only reason he gets the nod.

Watching, learning, second team reps are great developmental tools as well. Just curious who gives the team the best chance to win this season.
