you're right. he was rated 11 spots lower

 

why anybody would want the #120th rated passer on our roster to muddle the situation even further is beyond me

since our cupboard is bare is would say yes

 

 

cwt will be fired if he doesnt get a qb that can play the qb position next year

Should we be careful with recruits if we have too many in that same position?

Isn't It good thing that CWT played some redshirt freshmen as the recruits see the opportunities to compete?

Yep. My thoughts exactly. When your options are Mike White (a known commodity), Steven Bench (a mostly known commodity, but it's not like he has some unlimited upside to uncover), Quinton Flowers (unless he makes HUGE strides throwing the ball this offseason, or we completely change the offense, he's a non-factor), and Kean (a marginally recruited, true freshman), there is zero reason not to take a flier on 5th year senior with physical talent our current stable of QBs can't sniff. Maybe he does nothing for us. But even if there's a 20:1 chance the kid comes out, new school, fresh start, no expectations, playing his last season of college football, and flashes a shred of his potential...how can you possibly turn him down for what we've got?
