Joey Knight says this name is now popping up. Must have reached an impasse with Buzz

Correct title to UK.

ps- He is a former Harlem Globetrotter nicknamed "Hurricane".  Ruh roh.

ESPN ranked him as the no 1 Asst HC in US last year. He is a recruiting monster as well

Ugh

Why "ugh"? He would be a fantastic hire given his recruiting ability and seems like a fantastic motivator. Never mind that he's been around success everywhere he's been.

Seems like he could be a hell of a recruiter and great experience if we can't get a proven winner.  Might not be a splashy hire, but could have big potential. Interesting anyway.

Wikipedia says he is also the head coach of the Dominican Republic National Team.

I'm intrigued by this potential hire.

Imagine the possibilities with florida kids whose parents (or even grandparents in cases of home visits) prefer espanol.  Antigua would be a charmer on home visits.  Nevermind what he could achieve if a blue chipper comes out of the Caribbean (like Tim Duncan).

"He is a young and extremely gifted offensive mind, a developer of high-level talent and an elite national recruiter who brings the experience of having played an integral role from the beginning in helping to build one of the most successful programs in college football."

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
