I've been a fan of this band for a while... haven't seen this one before.  But noticed it was just posted.

Look up their other covers... they do some great variations of songs.

Nice!

It's not GNR, but it's in the theme of Asian interpretations of western music.  Here's the 12 Girls Band doing Dave Brubeck's Take Five and Simon and Garfunkle's El Condor Pasa. Enjoy!

Not sure what "they" smazza's referring to there...

Postmodern Jukebox (the OP) has been around for a couple of years and is still going strong.

http://www.postmodernjukebox.com/about-postmodern-jukebox/

The 12 Girls Band had a big flash in the pan about 10 years back, and faded from the US scene for a while, but they've been steadily working all along, even though some of the members have changed

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Twelve_Girls_Band

And Michelle Kwan's not a "they"

I have a feeling he meant GNR themselves.  He probably only knows the songs which made the pop charts or are played at stadiums and does not realize that the original band has not been together for many years now.

Guns N Roses is not a pop band.  They are a hard rock band who happened to have a few songs get in the pop charts.

There was money to be made in the music business and some were fortunate to be part of the scene back then and made a little.

I have never liked pop music, btw.
