Had a conversation with McGough's (Gaither QB) yesterday.  He said that Jefferson's Porter may be the best dual threat QB in Hillsborough. But if Taggart is running a more pro/west coast, does this kid get a shot at QB at USF?

I used to think the same, but doesn't Kaepernick perform well with Harbaugh's west coast? BJ looked good too. I think it's always good to have a dual threat as long as they can make throws. Knowing when to scramble and having the ability to run is an added bonus.

I've read (I don't remember where) that he was the 2nd best QB in the county (Litton #1).... And he fits the mold of that 49er's .

He's a career 60% completion rating and he can runs well.... He had more TD passes than Litton...

He's being recruited as a CB. With Bench and White ahead of him, I'd assume he'd rather stick to DB.

Taggart prefers DT, it's  the only thing keeping Floyd in the picture IMO.
