I can understand the skepticism...but man...did you guys see the spring game? Eveld and Floyd were terrible....

 

Don't get me wrong. Like I said way back, I walked to my car out of the stadium and sent my wife one text. It said, "Gonna be a long season".

 

I just mean that right now until I see it for myself on the field, I'm not sure a Steven Bench changes that fate.

LOL, because Joe Schad knows all. And clearly in his post he says it is because Mitchell committed to NC St.

 

 

Joe Schad is the one that took USF off Brandon Mitchell's interest list and when I asked him about it, said that it was on purpose. And he ended up correct. Later it was reported that the interest was not mutual, that USF coaches were only lukewarm on Mitchell.

According to former Penn State University quarterback Steven Bench, his transfer options have been narrowed to the University of South Florida and Mississippi State University.

 

Bench, who just announced earlier this months he would be transferring from Penn State, confirmed in a text message response that he will no longer be considering North Carolina State University.

I think USF is 75%

 

Why? His interview quotes after his USF visit. Plus, Tampa intangibles.

 

MSU: 25%

 

They have better QBs than USF right now. If he can't beat out the Penn State QBs for a starting spot, there's about the same chance for him to start at MSU.

It's a disjointed article because various parts of it had already been written and the writer updated it with a text message he received directly from Steven Bench saying he is no longer considering NC State.
