Ely is in Tampa this weekend......

I believe he's the 2nd string QB at Bama, 2nd in line.  He played sparingly, so not sure if he can redshirt or get a hardship.  Worst case, he comes in 2014 as a RS Soph.  That'd mean we'd rely on Floyd/Eveld, and maybe White in 2013. 

 

Not sure if this affects White...hope not, as it's just a rumor at this point, and we can't afford to have zero QBs in this lot.

Strange. Apparently Bama fans like him a lot. I just don't get why guy would want to leave Bama after being there 2 years already and he's one year away from being the starter most likely for one of the top teams.
