To me, I can't fathom how the Big12 wouldn't want to dip into Florida, not only for the top media markets, but for the recruiting as well. With that being said, great conferences have great rivalries. It would be insanely dumb if they grabbed only 1 of USF/UCF. 

Thinking rivalries also makes me think USF has a legit shot with their long history of battling Cincy (presumed to be a lock) and WVU.

I read Fennelly's article.  I don't buy this BS that Central is more attractive because it won a Fiesta Bowl.  It has also gone 0-12 not once, but twice within the last decade.

I think it's about more than just how you do in one season.  Otherwise, they should just pick Boise State, which has also won a major bowl.  I like to think the Big XII will take a long, studious look at this issue and conclude as many of us have - having both Florida schools makes the most sense if they go to 14.  

The lack of any serious analysis of this issue by any major Tampa media personality is sad, and telling.

Not to mention UCF is still on NCAA probation (5 year period).   One Fiesta bowl does not make them worthy.  

Another article that does not mention our name.  Maybe with what things are going on this is a good thing.
