He decommited because he got busted going to UF w/o talking to the coaches about it. Then tweeted that he was decommitted before they could pull his offer. I am certain, that they are done with his shenanigans.

Where are you getting this story from?

I think this may have been more plausible speculation... though it makes sense.

For those who are saying he never talked to USF before tweeting his decommit, I think you're talking out of your arse.

Coaches aren't allowed to talk about their interactions with recruits.

Yeah, just curious because this is the first I've heard of it.  It would make some sense though.

Chase was telling people that. Coaches weren't the source.

You're correct... coaches cannot officially talk about recruits.... but if you think winks and nods and hypotheticals aren't exchanged with media then I don't know what to tell you.

I'm having a big problem with this whole commitment thing. Ever looked up the word commitment. What does it mean. Whatever happened to telling the truth. Whatever happened to your word is your bond. Your word apparently is not important to some people any more. Lets get away from the word commitment because that's not what it is and call it what it really is. It's a lean or a leader to sign with but these are not "commitments". Too many people don't honor their word any more. If you want to shop around then shop around and just say you lean a certain direction but don't say your committed. It's a lie.

oh well.  don't let the door it you where the good lord split you.

i never understood why he committed so early anyways.  he is obviously a gator fan and as soon as they smiled at him he dropped his pants like a drunk hooter at the bar.

he pretty much ruined his chance of playing for USF.  he better hope some other schools with better opportunities become real strong on him.

So what media has confirmed any part of the stories being presented here other than he decommitted? All we have here is a Tweet from Litton, looking like it was sent before FNL even started, apologizing for backing out of his commitment.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
