Why would a fan site with no connection to the university, who makes money based on the number of hits it gets, write a fan's guide to the Big 12?

Obviously they KNOW SOMETHING.

I wouldn't say obviously ... you said it yourself, they're making money based on the # of hits their site gets. It could be they're racking up coin just from guys like Bill, and a piece like this lends credence to an "imminent" move to those types. If they don't really know something, it's a pretty genius ploy to make some cash.

Geez, now I'm getting blamed for supporting pay sites????? As most everyone here knows, I am outspoken in my disdain to paid for news. I take a ton of heat for it. I guess I am just the random scapegoat for most things wrong in the universe. I am pretty sure they are gonna pin Global Warming and the end of the Mayan calendar on me next. The only reason I even link to those sites is if I don't, I get accused of inventing a grand conspiracy which is only supported by 1 greatly discredited Twitter source. I can't win here, can I? Yeah. They support the 4 team playoff.

Clearly this points to imminent expansion and the ACC being ripped apart.
