He blew a whistle, but like you said, he didn't keep blowing it until action was taken. He needs to resign. They are not going to fire him because legally he fulfilled an obligation and he testified infront of the grand jury that he told executives in the organization that a molustation was performed on a child. They fired Paterno becuase he should ahve fought harder for his employee instead of rolling over like he did. Now put yourself in his shoes, he is a low GA and two executives met with him and Paterno and did nothing. How scared/intimidated would you be to blow the whistle externally if the executives at the organization did not even take any form of action and you had Paterno in your corner? That must have been a lonley feeling. Like I mentioned before, self-preservation kicked in at that point. It is a shame and he is a coward. An opportunity to be a real man presented itself to him and he failed on multiple occassions. He did not stop the event he witnessed, and he did nothing else to make sure it did not happen again. he is not a leader of men and needs to resign. McQueary was the one who witnessed the horrible act and didn't stop it or report it to police either, his failure to act was just as bad as JoePa's. He should have also been fired on the spot. he was a GA- he young lowest man on toteum pole if anyone gets apass it should be him but if they thru his butt in jail i wouldnt lose sleep 28 years old when it occured, old enough to know to stop it

Yes, and the amount of institutional disfunction here is disgusting. They will circle the wagons around redhead boy and everyone will say they did the right thing, legally. Where is the outrage over the victims? Why did they let this go on un-checked? They ended up forcing Sandusky to move his **** operation to a satellite campus. Out of sight, out of mind. This is exactly the same as the Priests scandal a few years ago.
