Weird...has to sit out 2 years.  Doesn't seem right, but the either way, AAC transfer is punitive.  Clearly his best route is to JUCO, and if he's good, get a look from a lot of differerent programs.

Coney was never really high on us. He made it clear that Cinci was always his top choice. Coney was always a favorite of mine, along with Cameron, so I was hoping he would go to another team in a different conference.

Am I wrong to think that the AAC prohibits intraleague transfers? For some reason, I could have sworn that this was a rule. Let the speculation begin on where he ends up!

I know it was a BE rule, not sure if transfer over.

i thought the same thing, but they actually can. However, they'd have to sit 1 year (like any other transfer), but would also lose an additional year of eligibility
