Really disappointed that he felt like USF was not a fit after Holtz was fired.   Strange how he could not embrace Taggart mindset and approach to the game.  

 

I don't find it strange at all that a receiver that is not #1 or #2 on the depth chart doesn't want to stick around and watch the offense from the bench while fullbacks and tight ends get used extensively.  USF went from lots of three and four receiver sets to lots of one and two receiver sets.  There just aren't that many footballs to go around to WRs in this offense.

Sad to see him go, but this program needs a culture change literally more than anything else. Wins be dammned. There is a dark cloud hanging over us right now and it needs to be fixed from the ground up. Not band aided with a good recruit here and there. Hopefully Coach T is the guy for it. Gonna be a long three-four years otherwise.
