With all the hoopla regarding Carlton Hill, myself included, I hope we all haven't forgotten about Matt Grothe.  Matt has stood by us all year long and is a diamond in the rough IMHO.  I've watched him play and he reminds me of a guy who torched us this year.  He goes by the name of Stefan Lefors.  Im just as excited about him as I am about Hill.

I would like us to sign Hill also.  Why?  So that we have two blue-chip QBs coming in that can duke it out for the starting position.  From watching both on tape I think that it might be the underdog Grothe who wins out.

personally, its not that I have forgotten about him, we celebrated his soild commitment a while ago.  I also believe  of Grother and Hill, Grothe is a much better QB, BUT I would love to have Hill too and hope he proves me wrong.  

I guess the biggest thing for me is 1) finally a big time recruit is making the smart choice instead of automatically going to the bigger program    2) Hill looks amazing on his runs in that video 3) Hill is basically telling MIAMI of all schools, thanks but no thanks im going to USF.  This with MIAMI putting the full court press on him the past month or so.

Let's not speak too soon about Hill.

Grothe, from what I hear, is the better QB.  Hill is the better athlete.  Would be great to have both.  Neither appear to be afrais of competition, especially Grothe who has stuck by us since the beginning.  Maybe kids do "grow up dreaming of becoming Bulls".

Leavitt can always use the QB rotation like Spurrier used to do. LOL. Maybe like Tenn did with their two star QBs. These QBs are going to have some good WRS to work with, so there really is no excuse right there. And lets not forget about Denson. Suddenly, it is looking like USF will have plenty of good QBs in the program.

the coach should pick one and stay with him until qb fails
