Citra (Fla.) North Marion tight end Sean Price is all set to visit an in-state school on Tuesday.

“I am taking a trip tomorrow to USF,†Price said. “This will be my first time really visiting the school as a recruit.â€

The 6-foot-4 prospect who says he is now up to 232 pounds is making his way to the Tampa campus with a list of questions that he hopes to have answered by Skip Holtz and his staff.

“I want to know the graduation rate of their black student-athletes,†Price said. “I want to know about the medical fields they offer as far as a major, because I am interested in majoring in Radiology. I want to know the overall graduation rate. I want to know the depth chart as far as football, how deep it is and how soon I could play if I was to go there. I just want to see the whole campus and get a feel for it, so if I go for four years I know I will definitely be comfortable there.â€

Price has already developed a good bond with a pair of coaches on the staff.

“I have been dealing with Coach (Larry) Scott and Coach (Phil) McGeoghan,†Price said. “Coach McGeoghan is like a big brother to me. He is a brotherly figure. Coach Scott is like an uncle or best friend in a way. I really like both of those guys. They are very cool and they talk to me as though they have known me forever. They are like family.â€

The big receiving target at the tight end spot says that the Bulls have done a good job of differentiating themselves from his crowd of suitors.

“USF actually does have a bit over the rest of the colleges,†Price said. “They are telling me what I want to hear and most of it is true.â€

Price mentioned that he wants to return to Alabama for another visit. The Crimson Tide are joined by Arkansas, Miami, and Tennessee as schools near the top of his list.

Even if his visit to Tampa tomorrow is impeccable, Price says it is unlikely he pulls the trigger at this juncture.

“Probably not,†Price said. “I think I am going to decide after the fall, most likely.â€

As a junior, Price had 22 receptions for 530 yards and seven touchdowns.
