Love me some local talent. Josh is a great athlete and will find a way to play on Saturday, whether it be at QB, DB or TBD. I think the coaching staff is showing him the love, let's hope he stays home.

Armwood QB/ATH Josh Grady tells me he'll likely take an official visit to USF on Jan. 14th. It will be the Bulls big recruiting weekend.

Depends on how bad he wants to play QB in college.  If that is absolutely what he wants then not very likely to be here as we have been on him as a DB.

Kid is a very good player and would be a good get from Armwood, and one who could influence a lot of local players this year and next.

IMO Grady is the key to this recruiting class, like Giddens was a few years back.......

Why do you say that?  Just looking for information on this guy.

He holds a lot of sway over other players in the area due to growing up playing ball together, including some of USF's top prospects on their board.  Giddens pretty much campaigned for USF on the biggest recruiting weekend of the year and helped close some of the best players in that years class on that visit weekend.  The way he revealed his commitment on the visit created a lot of excitement that weekend which rolled into locking up some key guys.  If Grady were to do the same thing the same way on what we are told is our biggest recruiting weekend this season it could have the same kind of impact.

Grady is a BIG key to this class. Both of his parents are USF alumni and he is supposedly very influential amongst the local football community.  Not only that, Josh's dad coaches in the PAL League and is looked up to by a lot of kids in the community that he has known since they were children.

Getting Grady alone is a big deal, but the residual effects of landing him are potentially HUGE.  You start pulling in guys like Andre Davis and Josh Grady then suddenly guys like Andre Dixon doesn't seem so far fetched.
