So are you saying that Steve Spurrier was not a great coach because Fred Taylor was a better Pro than College player  ::)

Ford better hope that weight loss he did helped his speed. His speed from freshman and sophmore your wouldnt cut it in the nfl even as a power back.

Michael Jordan was a better pro than college player so I guess by your logic that Dean Smith couldn't coach.  Why don't you do all of us a favor and stick to the Southern Cal boards.

i hope his speed does improve. im also worried about his lateral movement.

For the second time in about a week, I'm going to have to agree with smazza.  So long as Ford's problem is his work ethic (if that's even the case, I could never know for sure - just conjecture from the rumors I hear), his best chance at correcting it is in the NFL when he is forced to eat, breathe, and sleep football.
