extra innings and the AL is out of position players and very short on pitching.  the longer this goes, the better chance the NL has... is there a length limit?  i know one was called a tie in the last 10 years

I think there is only 1 left after rivera.

Rivera can pitch the 10th... but after that, just Soria is left (unless I am missing someone)

normally  if you run out of pitchers, you let a position player pitch... but even that won't work.

actually, i was serious... it is good to have a starter for your final pitcher

that is why Brandon Webb is being held out for the NL

Maddon would flip out if Kaz pitches more than 1 inning. He had called Francona and asked Kaz not be used since he pitched on Sunday, so thats why they didnt plan on him pitching during the 9 innings. I cant imagine Rivera going past the 10th, so it'll be interesting to see how long it goes.
