I just checked and Rivals has Thornton as having three stars, but they don't show USF listed as one of his favorites. I've noticed that same thing happening with other USF recruits on Rivals.

Byas Trying To Arrainge Clemson Visit

ATH Jordan Byas (6-2 185) of Panama City, FL had an in home visit last Saturday from Clemson defensive coordinator Vic Koenning. Byas has an official visit with the Tigers scheduled for January 18th but will have to reschedule because of a conflict with a track meet. He is scheduled to visit Florida for track January 11th, and he has a date set with Florida Atlantic for January 25th. Byas's teammate, DL Kyrhi Thornton (6-4 290), also has an offer from Clemson and is scheduled to visit January 25th. He also has offers from South Florida, Purdue, Ole Miss and NC State. He's scheduled to visit South Florida January 18th.

An 18 year old coming in at 275 could easily be up to 300+ within 2 years.

2 years?  Try 2 months.  Heck right now Grissom is reported to have played the season around 290-300lbs so he beat everyone to the punch.

If this staff lands Kyhri Thornton and Grissom at DT it would be a major coup and probably the two biggest sleeper prospects from a rankings perspective in the entire southeast along the interior lines.  Both are sporting some man sized offers, and have impressed even the most casual of observers.
