Dora would have been slappy and scratching at Varitek... he was staring down Bronson... oooh 150 lb, 5'10 pedro sized player... at least Varitek went after someone much bigger than himself.

Dora is an overpaid girly man from Miami who prances around the field and shaves his nutsack in the shower.

Varitek kicked his pansy ass up and down the first base line.

Suck it, Yankee fans.  Varitek OWNS your boy.

In other news, the Yankees still lead the American League East by 7 1/2 games.

In other news, they have no starting pitching and are doomed in the playoffs!

Doesn't matter if they are 30 games up.

And in yet some other news, the Sox lead the season series with the Yankees 8-5.

That tells me that the Yankees do a better job winning the close ones with the Devil Rays, but they aren't closing the deal against Boston this year.

They better hope we don't get the Wild Card, cuz we'll ***** smack them around.   ;D

Everyone will smack them around, even Toronto... the only team they own this year is Baltimore.

Kevin Brown, Javier Vazquez, Randy Johnson, Mike Mussina etc are not exactly table scraps.  They will be fine

Mussina has been aweful this year, certainly not the Mussina of old... plus he's still on the DL.

Brown...  pushing 40... injured back, on DL, though he will pitch this weekend.

Randy...  plays for Diamondbacks... not yankees... nice try though ;D

Vazquez... their only consistant pitcher, and his record isn't that stellar.

Lieber.... LOL... nuff said.

Contreras....   Red Sox' biatch

Tanyon "my pinky hurts after giving kapler a headlock" sturtze - impressed for a brief period as a middle reliever, but if they have to rely on him... yanks are toast.

I didnt see RJ trade on the tape yet but feel it will happen.  Brown still on DL with his buddy Mussina.  After Sox bitchslapped yanks they will go out and add to their mammouth payroll.

Sheesh, I don't even like the Yankees, but your spin is so myopic and delusional that I find myself compelled to argue their case.

And in yet some other news, the Sox lead the season series with the Yankees 8-5.

Yep -- and the Yanks lead the series 4-2 in games played after April 26th. Wanna try again?

That tells me that the Yankees do a better job winning the close ones with the Devil Rays, but they aren't closing the deal against Boston this year.

It's better than not winning the close ones with the Devil Rays, like a certain AL East team I could name.

Let's check some team vs team records, since you seem to like those. The Yankees' beating up on the weak teams would be irrelevant to the AL East race if the Red Sox could just do the same. The Yanks are 21-5 against the Rays/Jays/O's, while the Sox are 18-11. That's 6 games in the loss column; the Yanks' lead is only 8 in the loss column.

Yet you'll continue to blame your team's failure on everything except the simple fact that the New York Yankees win more games over a 162-game schedule than the Boston Red Sox do.
