LOVE Hendrix!! I used to work at Experience Music Project in Seattle, the summer they opened...they have a whole section devoted to him.

What about this? Possibly the best intro to any song ever. I'm not too sure that this is a good version since I can't listen to it at work.

here are two videos with my favorite Israeli rapper Subliminal, both very powerful and moving songs, and both songs have subtitles so you can know what he is saying.  Also in the second vid is an Israeli Miri Ben-Ari who is a grammy award winning violinist, she does a lot of hiphop, look her up on youtube and i think you'll be impressed.

You might like Matisyahu...I saw him live 2 nights ago with 311 and it SUCKED! The music was cutting out and we had seat tickets - which isn't fun for such high energy. I was pissed because he is one of my favorites and I've had such high expectations ever since I got his Live at Stubbs CD. Now, I have to see him again but in a smaller venue. I love his music but was greatly disappointed by experience. Thanks Ford  :
