I still miss Ian's dad who used to post on this board.  :'(  Really good man.  Ian was special the way he battled illness and injury to be a Bull.  Good Panhandle people.

Ian's back up in Pensacola... not sure what he's up to.  He was a graduate assistant here for a year, but I lost track of him after that.

And, yes, Sonny was a great guy.  'Blackbull' was, from what I recall, the first parent of a player to be really active on the messageboards.

BlackBull was a nice addition ... never met him though.

Think it was "BullDad", Mark Feldman's father that posted while his son played ... another good guy.

I just ran into Ian in Pensacola. He was wearing a Bulls shirt so I said hello not knowing who he was. We had a very nice talk and he is in the fire suppression business. He looked good.;

    We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.

    “In my mind, I’m kind of like, ‘OK, excuses over'. We know what we need to do. We’ve got the right team together, and now we move forward, and we’ll evaluate and be accountable to each other, including myself, from this point forward.”
