Channelside Mixer/Meeting

5:30 pm - 7:00 pm

Join the Tampa Alumni Chapter for a Networking Mixer and brief meeting for elections. Appetizers and a cash bar will be available.

After the meeting, USF Alumni Association members - including those who sign up that evening - will receive a discount card for various venues at Channelside.

Boys and Girls Club of Tampa Bay

2004 "Grade Improvement" Shopping Spree

Florida State Fairgrounds

Expo Hall

9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Volunteers are needed to staff booths at this flea market-style event where the kids will spend "money" they earn during the year based on performance in school and attendance. There will be more than 700 children shopping for items that have been donated by local businesses. If you would like to volunteer, please respond ASAP to Tony Holbrook at 813-546-8905.

2004 Tampa Bay Soap Box Derby

Sycamore Drive

USF Tampa Campus

8:00 am

Come join the Tampa Alumni Chapter for a day of downhill gravity-powered competition between drivers, ages 8 to 17, who will be racing Soap Box Derby cars. Each driver will participate with a parent or mentor in building a car from a standard kit. The event is coed and winners will travel to Ohio to compete in the international finals.

This event will provide an opportunity for young people to work with an adult on a project that requires focus, self discipline and is fun.

The event requires a number of volunteers. Sponsorship opportunities are available. For information contact Tony Holbrook at 813-546-8905.
