Now if we had FSU, UF, Oklahoma, wvu, Auburn, or other big name schools on the schedule and we beat them then our attendance would be a lot better and an ocs would make more sense but not when our biggest home game is ucf or gt

Lightning, Rowdies (sure), a new comic book movie, wind at a slight gust, SARS outbreak. Realistically, it's a dumb spring game, that means squat. What does matter is that we had a top 25 team last year, and drew like we were Akron. That has to change, on campus or off.

Tampa bay has lots of distractions vs. Gainesville or Tally. We had baseball that day and I believe the Rowdies. Those are all excuses. We need to keep growing the fan base, and we need alumni to step up with donations to the program. I think Joey is actually right--our fan base has not earned an OCS yet. I really don't think this is a matter of earning anything, it's a matter of feasibility. Either it can be done to the degree it needs to be at this time or it can't. Either way, the Spring game attendance doesn't have much to do with that feasibility. This was basically a ******** article feeding JK's obsession. My question is, though, why in the hell would USF release ANY attendance figures for this game to begin with?
