"Kheireddine said the potential fee could range between $30 and $80 a semester per student. He also noted that Student Government (SG) could not change student fees without a vote by the student body and that any statement regarding student fees to fund a stadium is currently hypothetical." At what point do the students stop financing athletics at the rate they currently do?

I want an OCS really bad but don't want to raise tuition and hit up the students to fund it.

thatBULL Posted March 29, 2018 Group: Member Topic Count: 37 Content Count: 406 Reputation: 82 Days Won: 0 Joined: 12/12/2003 Share Posted March 29, 2018 I want an OCS as much as anyone, but I always find it interesting when someone says “The fee would go away, but the stadium would stay.” Does anyone believe we would give up revenue that is basically accepted once the bonds are paid? We need to have a true fundraising effort for a stadium. If that’s successful and students feel they want to pitch in (more than then large % they already do today) then maybe that’s ok. You may not like RayJay and you may want the stadium to be closer but it isn't needed. At the end of the day, we still have a decent stadium to play in.
