I know a lot of folks don't care for some of these guys but:  https://www.thedailystampede.com/

If you want more USF coverage, go to the outlets that are covering it.

In terms of actually reporting and breaking news, TDS and the Oracle both beat JK.

Skipped a little, but you first page guys must have missed his story that converted the snub to USF WBB for a reason for Jose to leave USF.

The thing is he isn’t lazy if it’s not USF related. Him hanging out in Tally and doing this extra stuff shows that he is capable of going above and beyond. He just acts like anything pertaining to USF is beneath him. I have no problem with him as a person, but as a professional journalist he sucks.

Everyone hated on our past beat writer for breaking stories.

Does the loss mean he's staying?  Joey can get another 1/4 page article on that now.

Greg Auman never had any hate. He was the pinnacle of what a beat writer is supposed to be, which is why we ultimately lost him to the Bucs. Brett McMurphy on the other hand didn't just break the news, he tried to help make it. He injected himself way too much into the CJL situation. He also only seemed to break negative USF news as well.

Has JK ever broken a single story? Positive or negative? About the only time I ever see him show any initiative is attendance numbers.

There have been a few but nothing earth shattering like AttendanceGate ...

The plagiarizer ....... I opined that when it first happened, that it may be the only reason he'd leave USF.

Me thinks Joey is going to be looking good to you guys when the Times completely drops a beat reporter for USF and we are depending on coverage from the AP and an occasional article from one of the columnist (which are usually snarky). Just ask Cincy how much coverage they get in their hometown paper.
