Ryan Hearn went from CB to WR during my playing days and contributed substantially. It can be done. What truly makes a DB is their hips. Andre Waters preached hips every day in practice. People can say DB's are WR without hands, however Anthony Henry had great hands. You can try and make the fastest guy on the field a DB, however he'll be average at best without good hips.

Anyone else read Zebold's practice notes today, about how much faster the offense is moving?

Does that mean we are going to run the HB dive 70 times a game as opposed to 50?

I'm right there with you...  I think Gilbert is an excellent OC.  I don't see last season as something bad, we had better overall stats than the year before and while we didn't win the conference, we put up points and won games.  I think the kinks were more a new system and the type of QB.... and it was still one of our statistically best seasons. I for one think the offense will improve this season.  I think the parts fit and everyone knows what's expected and how to run the system.

I thnk Oladokun is going to win that job.  That kid's arm has some serious pop and he makes really good decisions... speed doesn't hurt either.  He just seems like he can take hold of the job and keep it.
