Personally I will more than likely go to the game if it is on campus. I like my CFB at the campus stadiums...especially against a Big10 team. I can visit Chicago anytime...

This kills me. Prior to this deal, our only unbalanced contract was a 2 for 1 with Texas. If we can't get a 1 for 1 with Louisville, who will sign one with us?

I do not disagree with your sentiment but when you are in a disrespected league, sometimes concessions have to be made.  To me, a 2 for 1 is more agreeable than a one on the road and done.  This solves two issues.  The first is our fans' complaint about unattractive home games.  The second, it is a way to get a quality opponent on the schedule more often so the outsiders cannot dismiss our schedule if our team has a really good season.

As someone who has been very vocal about taking one and done payday games to improve our schedule and make bank if necessary I am totally down with 2 away and 1 home. It gets us two paydays, one good to great homegame and 3 total games for SoS.

Navy and Memphis will be on the schedule in 2019 as well, right? As long as Wisconsin doesn't back out that's about as close to a playoff crashing schedule as you can realistically get. Of course there will be that pesky little task of running the table to worry about.

I'm just wondering why we've been having such a hard time getting quality opponents over all. It's just baffling to me. We're in the Sunshine State, who doesn't want a trip to the beach during the winter months.

Fear of losing my friend. Teams learned that the hard way a decade ago.

If you've not visited the state of Utah you are missing out.  Lots to do.  BYU's campus and stadium are in a beautiful setting with the Wasatch Mountains as a backdrop.  Beautiful!

Go Bulls!

My girl works for Delta and had a conference there. The photos she took were amazing. Beautiful mountains everywhere.

I mentioned that in  my green goggle post. Some people hate to root for other teams, but If the football God decide to bless us, all of the teams I put in bold  hopefully will have a great 2018, and be ranked in 2019.  That is 6 teams in the top 25 we can possibly play. Factor in the other teams on our schedule at least having a record above .500 and we should have the strength of schedule  good enough to crash the playoffs.  In addition to having Kean or Oladukan in their 2nd year as a starter....and like you said if they can go undefeated of course lol

2019 -

OOC - GT, WISC, BYU, CMU

Con games -

* American home games: Cincinnati, Memphis, SMU, Temple

* American road games: UCF, UConn, East Carolina, Navy
