A 2-1 with Louisville? We shared a conference with them for years. I doubt there's another p5 school that has a better relationship with us and even they won't do a 1-1 with us? This G5 thing sucks. I'm almost ready to shut the program down if we don't get into the p5 on the next round of conference expansion. or you can look at it aa the glass half full and that we will have a good p5 game for three years instead of just 2

Players get off the plane, onto buses, to the hotel (with a quick stop at stadium to see the place), to the stadium on game day and then back on buses to the plane. In between they'll be playing a football game in 90 degree heat. Not quite my idea of a vacation. These trips aren't vacations. Their alumni and boosters won't be playing on that hot field and they don't need to worry about making practice or walkthroughs either. We are dangerously close to shuttering the program and for good reason. If less than probably 10,000 other people make this decision how long do you think we can afford rent at Ray Jay with it being 1/8th full? Something drastic needs to be done to save this program and it needs to go way beyond winning in the AAC which the market has demonstrated it does not care about at all. 1

Math, every study on college football ever, our actual attendance numbers, the survey sent out by the program this week and common sense.

So, the answer is, "no." Nothing you just posted pointed to USF being, "dangerously close" to shutting down the program.

In short we know that at zero fans it’s game over and I would say we are dangerously close to actual zero, how close do you think is a reasonable number to call it? I don’t think we are far from that number if you think we can continue to hemmerage fans and that doesn’t have consequences than great but losing large amounts of conference money and 70% of your customers will be a death nail to pretty much any business. Walk into the stadium any given Saturday, does it feel like it’s a successful business? Now cut the number of people in there in half, could you see it continuing without something drastic changing? Agree for the fans. Can't wait to go back to L'ville. We still go every other year as it is to hit some distilleries and attend the Bourbon Classic. Louisville is a fun travel destination. 4th Street Live was nice back in those Big East days. Heck Louisville fans were very classy and nice as they brought me a beer after USF got upset by their Cards. I been to Papa Johns Stadium before they added all of those seats. Will be nice to see the updated look.
