Kids are kids, but, hopefully the pressure of living up to Q's legacy will humble him and make him hungry to succeed (this applies to whoever wins the starting job actually).

Famous Jameis was pretty big-headed too, but he played out ok. No way he can be lazy and get the start--maybe that's why the coaches had him calling plays in, but he always looked active and involved on the sidelines. My only concern (for Kean too) is that they seemed prone to getting rattled. Hopefully Q taught them how to forget.

I'm thinking Chris, but if one of the new guys is good enough to beat him, then let's use that guy.

Here's what my philosophy would be when it comes to QBs if I were a coach:

If one is clearly better than the others, he starts

If there is not one that is clearly better, start the one with the most experience.

If the experience is similar, start the younger one.

You forgot one option: start both at the same time. Teams will never see that coming. Who can defend against 2 qbs at the same time? :stirpot:

I know one of his teachers. That's nothing like the person they described. Said he was respectful, hard working and very smart.

college playbooks and off season workouts have a way of humbling athletes. Also the person fellow students see and the person that teachers see, can often be two completely different people.

and I like CO10 to take the snaps next season.

I have not seen enough play time from any of our quarterbacks to pick who I believe will be the next savior at USF.  If only I had the insight of CCS.

Man, if only we could have not run the ball up the middle 50 times and actually put points on the board before the 4th quarter, we could have got a look at these guys last season.

My uneducated guess thinks Chris O. Hoping he is the real deal and Kean keeps the back up duty while the young guys learn the system. If not, I just hope one of these guys can seperate themselves.
