So you really believe that Arkansas State was that much better than you last year. See where this is going?

Y’all are always welcome to the parade. We should all rejoice for the AAC.

I'm sure ESPN will televise it .... also sure gman nailed it.

Totally bush league....just when the AAC was going to gain some respect C. acts like complete tools.  You beat a bored Auburn team, not the 85 Bears.

In fairness to UCF I think they deserve a shot. I think any undefeated team should have a path to a championship otherwise why play the games. I don’t think they would beat a team in this years playoffs, but they could. TCU was undefeated in 2010 and didn’t get a national championship, but at least the teams that did play in the BCS title game that year were also undefeated. 4 team playoff this year and none of them undefeated and 2 with bad losses.

As a fan, a college football fan do I see this as a little bit over the top? Probably yeah.

But as a fan an American Athletic Conference team I can see this as a type of protest to the current college football system. I see this as a big f*** you to the committee. The committee that has treated the "g5" like an extension of the FCS for years. The college football championship should be determined by a team's current year talent, resume and consistency -- not by TV revenues and reputation alone.

What the college football committee has right now is definitely not the best solution and this is an opportune moment for the AAC to start a serious conversation about it.

Laughable.

I guess UCF can self identify as National Champs.

Don’t laugh many in the media are supporting this including a few at Espin. I wonder if we have time to win another mascot contest?

If USF beat Houston, us and Memphis and then Auburn in the peach bowl I would 100% support the claim. As much as it would pain me to. I would support any "G5" in our situation.

I'm surprised Danny White has the balls to outright say it. It's bold and polarizing - perfect for grabbing attention to the situation.

This system is bogus for most of the teams "eligible".

I agree with that. I don’t know if Harlan would have the balls...he is too busy in telling the band to end their music early.
