So the runner up in the MW conference is matched against the 4th best AAC team....kind of odd. Would think they’d try to get Fresno lined up a P5 at least.

Losing to a P5 is bad and reinforces the divide in talent narrative the media likes to push but it's somewhat understandable. Losing to a CUSA and MW team just shatters the P6 narrative.

To the talking heads sure, but not to those who pay attention and realized that the MW runner up barely beat the AAC team that could be ranked somewhere between 4 and 6.
