Even though the secondary is crowded I'd watch out for Vincent Davis, the kid is a stud.

There are quite a number of signees who could be called studs  in HS and won big awards as seniors.

I expect that one of the LB's we sign will get immediate playing time, because we have a real need at that position.

The same can be said at DT. If we end up signing all four at that position, it will give us much more depth to rotate in players.

I'm hoping that Terrence Horne, can get some playing time, even if just on special teams, because he brings elite speed, which is something that has been missing from the team this year. Chauncy Smart was supposed to be that kind of an incoming player this year, but he never saw the field and transferred out to just run track at Miami.

More likely a graduate student.

Also, we will have a lot of DE's so maybe one of them will move to LB.

Hold on. There’s a national football team? Is this an Onion article?

It's no joke, there is in fact a national team. It's usually composed of college players, usually a mix of players from all three Divisions, but mostly from lower level P5, some G5, and some FCS. Despite all that the US still steamrolls the competition, Japan, Canada and Germany are the closest and yet still don't get very far.

That is what I am assuming. We have a crapload of DEs and some of the youngers ones are a bit skinny, so they might as well play LB for the time being.

I think this looks good, I just hope we land a few JUCO's or a grad transfers at LB.  I am sure the coaches know how shallow we are there.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
