They did what was right for Evan. They knew they were rebuilding the team and the infield in particular. He probably wants to win now and hes from the West Coast. I think they repaid his loyalty with a move that gets him a better chance at a ring. Also, Sorry but christian Arroyo could end up being just as good in two years, He isn't exactly "table scraps" as the return for Longo has been titled in the thread. His ML numbers were low but it was small sample size that was cut by injury. In six seasons in the minors he had a career 300 ave. and a 960 Fielding percentage. No reason to believe he wont make this trade seem even or in our favor in five years.
