Saw this on ESPN and wondered if this guy liked Strong and Gilbert enough to consider coming here.

That also got me thinking... do more people transfer out of Texas and maybe miss coach Strong? I believe that a lot of the players were upset that he was let go. Would they want to follow him? His last 2 seasons, he had top-10 classes. Would be interesting if Herman isn't winning everyone over.

So do we get 2 years with Cronkrite?  Warren might not want to come here due to all of the rumors about CCS future.  One name being floated is Tre Watson, LB from Illinois.  He's a Grad transfer so he should be able to pick his destination even from Illinos a team on our schedule next year.  We are thin at that position so it does help, oh and he is a Tampa Catholic kid too.

I thought this was going to be about USF players transferring out. It's common knowledge Strong has lost the team and is unhappy here. Why would anyone want to stay?

Im hoping for the linebacker to come out here. I think we are good at Running back. We have a 220 pound freshman running back coming in that looks good.

Would love to have Watson from Illinois.  We are thin at LB and he was one of the few players making plays for them when we played.  He's also a Tampa kid so he may have some interest in coming home.   Seems like a perfect fit to me....

There is a thread about him on the recruiting board. He mentions an interest in USF.

Good question about Cronkrite?  Him and the 2 Duke DL transfers are listed as juniors on the roster.  Are they red shirting or will they be seniors next year?

Cronkrite has 2 years starting in 2018.  Which DL are you talking about?

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
