I was feeling like Flowers wasn't going to be denied on that last drive. Sucks for Wilcox, but clearly he has a lot of talent. Hopefully he redeems himself and then some next year.

Hopefully he learns from it. Had a costly turnover in the Birmingham Bowl last year too.

Just saw his apologetic tweet.  I feel bad for the kid.  lots of talent, but needs to learn to hold on to the ball.  Several very costly fumbles in last couple of years.

Wilcox has had trouble with fumbles all throughout his career. He cost us a game about 2 years ago on a fumble while trying to fight for more yards. Might just want to get down after making a catch

A game is lost because of a series of mistakes, not simply because his was the last one

100 mistakes and misjudgments were made in that game, his just happened to be the last one

his fumble was 1/100th of the reason the team lost. Add up all the mistakes on offense, defense and special teams, then add the last second fumble... thats how much responsibility he has to bear

He’s a great athlete and and  a great student, but a complete fool would hang the loss solely on him

1/100th of the total blame for the loss

I thought it was funny, especially after reading above, that Charlie said int he postgame that the Bulls finally played a complete game today.  I thought that was disingenuous and damages a coach's credibility.  I don't think we accomplished that.  Bizarre.

I mean do u see the teams we played this year vs last year .

And how many games do you think we win last year without Mack and Adams...it's all relative.  Last years defense would have given up 70 yedterday

Feel so bad for him.  He was as distraught as I’ve ever seen a college player at the end.  Wish he didn’t have to but I’m sure it is a cross he will bear for a long time.

Chin up, Mitch, and come back next year ready to kill it for the Bulls.

he should be distaught
