With so much riding on the line for USF on Friday, it got me thinking if we have ever been in a game with more on the line?

This was supposed to be USF's year, we were the school who everybody picked to win it all in the AAC, and then UCF has overshadowed us by week 6... That said everything can change on Friday when we win.

I know we were #2 once, and had a huge game with Rutgers... no USF fan will ever forget that.

I know we could have beat UConn and maybe sneaked in to a BCS bowl I think in 2005 or 2006.

I just feel like winning this game at this moment will be the biggest step USF can take for the nation to look at us as the G5 team on top. that is... until we play Memphis :-)

Or maybe just too much Green and Gold adrenaline pumping through my veins!!

Go Bulls!!

This is the biggest game because it all boils down to one game in the last conference game of the year. Rutgers in 2007 was big but it was conference game number 2.

Yes. This is for the right to play in our first ever conference championship. We've never had so much riding on one game before. If we win, our next game will be the most important in program history.

Not any bigger than any other conference game. Temple 2016 was just as important and winning would have had the same outcome, division winner.

All division games are equally important when losing bumps you out of contention.

There is more excitement though when two winning teams play one another just because.

This is the biggest game because it is winner takes all.

There was still an outside chance to win the division last year after the game with Temple.

This year with the winner taking the division and it being a rivalry game makes the game even more intriguing.

Most importantly it is the biggest game to this senior class.

In hindsight that was a big game. The difference this year is the stakes are known before the game.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
