Yeah ESPN uses whatever ranking is the highest to promote the game. If USF is in a poll somewhere they will have the # on the ticker.

We are the only unranked one-loss team in America so I don't see how they don't rank us next week. And we should still be undefeated but 4th and 24 happened. :facepalm::furious3:

I swear if they put a 6 and 4 team ahead of us. I think we do get in for all the reasons already mentioned 9-1, game hype, etc.

Why the actual eff was a 7-3 nc state team ranked 19th???   Their two big wins are against teams nowhere near the top 25 anymore

I think what we are seeing is that the CFP committee cares more about who you beat then the number of losses that you have. 6-4 with two big wins is better than 9-1 against creampuffs. We should take note and schedule very tough OCC games.
