True, but the strength of schedule has to be factored in at some point.

QF can win a game all by himself, if Charlie would allow him to, in my opinion.

I agree but what proof is there that UCF can win if their offense doesn't scored 35 plus? They haven't played a defense that can do that. Now maybe we can't either, but they haven't  provided any proof that we can't based on who they've played

There's no way the team won't be pumped up for this game

Neither team, USF or UCF has played a good defense. For all we know this game might end up being 16-13.

I would like to see the formula for strength of schedule.  Is it as simple as your opponents' records? Or is the several iterations of their record, their opponents records, and so on?  Do subjective things like rankings come into play?  I'm not saying our SOS is great or even on par with UCF's, I'm just curious.

I don't think there is a magic sauce and as time has gone on, the UCF SOS has moved up and down. I look at a couple of sites, no one has the perfect model IMO.

UCF is no world beater. Sagarin says UCF 99, USF 121. Per Sagarin  https://www.usatoday.com/sports/ncaaf/sagarin/

I feel real good where USF is right now. 9-1, full week to prepare for UCF, and UCF getting bruised up some this weekend playing Temple. Bulls will be ready and all charged up for UCF after hearing all the constant noise that UCF will destroy 'em.

Navy and SMU wins were 31 point wins IIRC Maryland was slightly more.....38 I think.

I like the total points allowed D stat. USF does very well.

Well sos takes into account the whole year and not one game. So it doesn't count the fact that Maryland couldn't score on air with a 3rd string QB. So that 38 point win is misleading

They'd better be ready. Collin said on Twitter that it's possible the team got caught looking ahead after opening up the two score lead early. If they play like the team that we saw on the first quarter we can beat UCF.

Just like last night for USF. I think it all evens out.
