To add insult to injury #18 Wash just converted  a 4th and 10 yards with about one minute left against Utah and then tied the game at 30. Then they kicked a FG in regulation to win.

Moved up one slot in both the AP and Coaches to 22 and 19.  Maybe we do sneak in the CFP at 25.

Please do not rank us cfp....build that chip on our players shoulders...please, i know its important for espn aka disneys ratings but for the first time in my life im asking please keep us out of your big boy party for one more week

Nothing would surprise me with that poll.

The more I think about it, the more I'm coming to think that the playoff poll should only be releasing its top 4 names, not a top 25. If they want, they could add the "first four out" and release 8 names. They can rank all 128 for all I care, but they sholdn't be releasing them all.

Anything past the top 8 is meaningless, since nobody else has a chance (on that given week).

All is does is create another controversial poll, one that's controlled by a secret cabal of a dozen old white guys, meeting in a secret lair, with zero accountability. Better to have a wider group, such as the writers or coaches. Better yet, give that media space to a composite computer ranking a la the Massey.

Three years, for first few weeks when they did the first did the poll, they only published the top ten. Then the media an athletic directors demanded a rank of the top 25 and it changed.

Ranking only 8 would affect the G5 since the highest CFP ranked G5 conference champion gets a slot.  They would need to at least release the top 4 G5 teams so we know where we stand.
