Is it out of the realm of possibility that one of these schools gets the death penalty in BBall, possibly opening up a spot in one of the big conferences?

I like how you think! :GoBulls:

Isn't Bruce Pearl at Auburn connected to Chuck Person who is Auburn's assistant coach ?

One would think, but didn't Miami literally have boats with escorts and did not get the death penalty?

The ncaa has already said they wouldn't give the death penalty to anyone again in football after they gave it to smu but if they didn't give it to penn state or Baylor for all the stuff those schools did they won't give it to anyone else again at least in football. Now the recent case involving the fbi might lead to Louisville and a couple of other schools to get it but i wouldn't count on them as the NCAA is extremely soft with punishments for schools especially with Louisville as they have had multiple infractions without much of anything done to them

They used to be Adidas until Michael Jordan's son (who played a few years) refused to wear non-Nike shoes.

Adidas then cancelled their contract and Nike took over with what was speculated as being a cheap offer.

The delusional tinmen thought Jordan's affiliation was going to bring them a huge apparel contract and publicity which would result in grabbing big time recruits.

Yeah but now that they hired Frost things have opened up with Nike again and apparently they're getting some special attention. Might close up once he leaves for Nebraska though.

Link?

All I'm seeing is some new uniform combos (which everyone seems to be doing lately) and a two-year extension.

I can't find any financials, but I highly doubt Nike is throwing bags of money at them considering the school signed a contract at a time when Nike was the only company bidding.

All they got was new, fancier uniform designs since the stodgy O'Liar was gone and Frost wanted to be hip and cool.

Tom Jurich is likely to lose his job too, according to ESPN.

Remember when he was virtually lionized by some on this board.

That's because he made good hires and excels at fundraising and building facilities (and getting to a Power 5 conference). No one knew he was involved with this sort of sordid affair.
