Middle Tennessee is already out.

I think these teams will be eliminated this weekend:

Cincinnati

UCF

Syracuse

Purdue

Notre Dame

Toledo

San Diego State

Arizona

Texas A&M

Florida

What's the criteria for elimination before the first poll even comes out?

I think it's one loss for G5 and two losses for P5 and only those that are definitely eliminated.

Or you are in the Sunbelt.

Cincy has a loss. If a G5 has a loss, they are out, 100%. Big name P5 programs have a shot with 2 losses (ND, FSU, OSU, UM, USC, PSU, UF etc). Everyone else in P5 gets 1 and they are done. Realistically, right now, the list could probably be shortened to 30.

None of the Sun Belt are undefeated ..... but you're still probably right.

It's really doubtful that a 2-loss team gets in.  I'm pretty sure there'd be enough undefeated and quality 1-loss teams to fill the 4 spots.
