And if it was a Ray Jay rule, I don't think it is anymore as they only list "horns" as prohibited items.  I would think if they didn't allow cow bells, thundersticks, etc, they would state "artificial noise makers" like others have.

 

Yet the sec allows Miss State to have cowbells? I think they still have them, yes?

The rock I live under doesn't have thunder sticks. What is a thunder stick? Sounds like something used by Thor or Zues or a Jedi.

I just don't think they make that much of a difference outdoors, sound wise, for some reason. Indoors a different story.

I remember WVU 2007 in the student section everyone was standing and drumming their hands on the seat back in front of them. It was loud as hell. Created a low rumble, it really did sound like a running herd. Greatest crowd sound I've ever heard. Much better than vuvus and cow bells or what ever else I've heard. 

 

As long as we are at Ray Jay with seat backs Id like to see more seat drumming.
