I think there's a bar in Ybor called Thundersticks that you should definitely stay away from.

Why are we asking this question?  We aren't hanging those out, are we?  This isn't a Lightning game, and I am a Lightning fan.

No cowbells, thundersticks, etc. Plz

I don't mind them for Lightning games or Rays game but just does not seem right for college, or pro, football ....

Reminds me of another bout of stupidity at the Bucs game Sunday. Was sometime in the second half, Bucs have the ball and some ******* knucklehead  cheerleaders were trying to start a wave.

I seem to remember a game back in 2004 or 2005 where some apartment complex handed them out to students and then security made everyone pop them or confiscate them during the first half.

i assumed they were against the rules.

I seem to remember the Big East having a rule against artificial noise makers - not sure about the American.

I can't seem to find any link to it, but would bet money on it.  Here's a link about the SEC's policy on artificial noise makers - especially cow bells.

http://www.cdispatch.com/msusports/article.asp?aid=33809

And if it was a Ray Jay rule, I don't think it is anymore as they only list "horns" as prohibited items.  I would think if they didn't allow cow bells, thundersticks, etc, they would state "artificial noise makers" like others have.
