Looks like the defense didn't forget the things that were said about them by Temple players after last year's loss.  The defense is going to be out for blood......

I think it's two different things between baseball and football - baseball isn't as much of a contact sport and it's more cerebral than football.  You can't really get too fired up or you'll lose focu

I’m still pissed off by how they punched us in the face last year. I wish that fullback they had was still there too. He was the heart of that victory. But at least we still get a change to get that running back who ran all over us. Anyways, I’m glad I don’t have to wait until Friday for this game. Temple definitely is one of our top rivals. Even the year we beat them, they went to the title game instead of us.

Yeah, it sucks as a defense to have some dude running at you diving at your knees the whole game. But, let's not let that get in the way of how "great" that guy is. I guess it's legal, but, it's also horses--t to coach and play the game that way.

We used to kidney punch those guys in the pile after plays. They usually left the game by halftime.

 

Not promoting the tactic, just sayin, I may have to sit and piss for a day or so but, you'll be pissing blood when you go.

Over and above the quotes after last year's game, Temple kept us out of the Conference Championship Game. Beating the crap out of them this year should be the overall goal just based on that alone.
