Cut the penalties and the crap special teams and I'll be good. Still, yesterday's result was satisfying enough.

much better on offense. showed a little creativity. jet sweeps even a wheel route and RB screen. seemed to attack the edges more with the run. we still like to run between the tackles more than I care but it was effective last night.that won't work well against a lot of teams though and I hope they can recognize it early to adjust unlike Stoney game. even pressed the action down the field more.

defense is night and day better

They did stop running between the tackles after the first couple of series, for the most part, against Stoney Brook until late in the game. You obviously still haven't gone back to watch it .... although I can't blame you for not wanting to watch that again.

Do we realize that good teams make average teams look bad?

We did the whole "We beat a bad team" thing all the way to 11-2...

We have a "Weak schedule" and will receive everyone's A+ game. We are ranked and looked the part aside from early special teams problems.

Enjoy the ride people!!!

Take the blinders off . . . anyone see the Michigan score against AFA?

We are doing well and need to play a complete game.

Go BULLS !!!

Yes I feel better, but that was a very bad team we played.  The good news is that most remaining teams on our schedule are not much better.  I would still be freaking out if we were playing a top 25 team next week!

While we are a top 25 team, I don't think we could beat one.

There are plenty of top 25 teams we could beat if we play well.

Feel much much less freaked out this morning than I did 2 weeks ago tomorrow.

And very much less than one week ago tomorrow. (Not applicable to those still without power)

We should definitely run the wheel route more often.  I got 2 TDs per game with that in NCAA Football 13.

Um...of course!  However, to this point, we have not played well enough to beat a top 25 team.  The three teams we beat are very bad teams.  I'm not sure, especially seeing how undisciplined we were with penalties, that we would automatically rise to the occasion if we played Memphis this Thursday.

As a huge fan, I of course believe that they can be anybody.  In actuality, there is still much work to be done before people outside of TBP believe in us and we are very lucky that our schedule will afford us many more tune-up games!

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
