Idea: Storm Relief Help

As communications go in and out, would it make sense to pin a thread that Bullspenners can post if they need help or supplies?

we are our own community of folks. I'm staying in downtown to help out down here.

This is weird. I can't make outgoing calls on my landline through Frontier or my cell with Verizon Wireless. Not sure if a temporary glitch because I called a friend in Memphis not too long ago from the cell.

 Texans A&M fansite created whole board for relief and help during Harvey to report conditions and closed and blocked roads, people needing rescue or places to stay, etc. 

Reddit had lots of things going too.
