Nothing. It is a win against a rebuilding team. Some nice steps, like Milton having a career day, but in the grand scheme, it means nothing until they play a team with a pulse. Memphis may have one. They certainly have a good, very good QB.

Still a ton of points.  Wouldn't have expected that wide a margin, but I know little to nothing about FIU.

Its the first week. I think week one is only 50% valid, at best. Even in years with good schedules, almost every team schedule a  baby seal to bash. I hate it, but with no pre season, everyone does it.

 

The proof in the pudding, is the week 1-2 improvement, and injuries. UCF lost maybe its number 2 LB last night on a very late hit call. Play was over, long after the whistle, a FIU player leveled a UCF player who had both feet planted, very low. He may have played his last game, but hopefully not.

 

USF needs to protect QF.

Didn't watch the game, but it was a similar score to last year against FIU.

That is about it. Beating a bad team by a lot should not be a significant event. A shut out might have been news, but they didn't get that done.
