LAKELAND — The Lakeland Magic have found their head coach and general manager.

Stan Heath has been hired as the inaugural head coach, while Anthony Parker will take over as the team’s general manager. The Magic will introduce both at a press conference at the Simpson Park Community Center in Lakeland on Wednesday.

I'm glad he's going to be working as a head coach. But I'm surprised he hasn't landed a head coaching job at another university or smaller school.

His team is 0-1 so far looking to break into the win column tonight. They are currently playing on ESPNU.
