3-star OT Ethan Watson shuts down recruitment, and schedules his one official visit for after the New Year.

All that Ethan Watson has to do is put the pen to the paper to make it official, but other than that, the recruiting process is all wrapped up for Ethan Watson, the 98th-ranked offensive tackle on 247Sports.

The 6-foot-5, 300-pound Watson joined forces with the Bulls back on July 30, and says not a thing has changed with plans to sign his letter of intent in early February.

"I’m going to USF Jan. 12," Watson said when asked about his official visit plans. "I’ve thought about (visiting other schools), but USF is where I want to go and nowhere else, so that’s all I’m taking."

Watson, a three-star prospect from Pensacola (Fla.) Catholic, says staying put in the Sunshine State to suit up in front of family and friends was a priority in his recruitment.

"I’m a Florida boy, and I always said I would stay in Florida," Watson said. "I’m big on having a family-like environment, and when I went on my visit in May, I felt it when a player said, 'Come join the family.'

"I felt at home. I knew for a long time when they offered me that’s where I was going to go. USF has always felt like a second home to me, and the coaches have always showed me good love."
